Roomah Records is a worldwide record label that focuses on the empowerment of club music for underground musicians. The record label is based in Indonesia. It features an online blog, an original music catalog, and an architecture club space for fellow fans and musicians.

Roomah aims to empower club music across Asia, showcase amazing local talent, and develop meaningful connections between worldwide artists from around the world. Roomah Records is focused on pushing the boundaries of club music, inspired from music all around the world.

PLATES: RECORD CATALOG SERIES
The roots of the record label, Indonesia, takes as the major inspiration for these catalog designs. I wanted to incorporate the importance of Indonesian cuisine into the artwork for the music, which taps into "tasting the music".
I formed three iterations with the same images that would work best to visualize food into a musical concept. I wanted to focus on the plate, the groundwork of food, to be a major naming platform for these tracks, hence the dubbing of "PLATES".
ARCHITECTURE DESIGN
I wanted to incorporate Roomah's club venue into the extreme compact and denseness in a big city like Jakarta. We have a few shophouses in the main city, where it acts as stores for shopkeepers. Incorporate Roomah's architecture to fit a compact space similar to this would allow for further expansion and understanding wayfinding and space. Architecture done in Sketchup.

Connecting with big name producers, and collaboratning with record labels to work together to put music together, showcasing more artists from around Asia, in collaboration to work with more renowned artists who changed the game from the early years of EDM.
20 YEARS
Assist in creating a better future for newer, aspiring artists worldwide to succeed in the industry with other big name record labels. Roomah aims to improve global club music and create inspiration for newer generation of bedroom producers to come and be the next stepping stone towards the future of EDM.
COVID-19'S IMPACT ON THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

The impact of COVID-19 have allowed artists to create different means of communication through music. Online festivals through ZOOM meetings, Twitch streams, and Minecraft, among others; has allowed the virtual replication of experience a festival listening to familiar, and new talents from all around the world.

Musicians have spent their time in touching on new ways of communicating with their fans. Artists launching Twitch streaming have helped unknown producers find their own fans, inspire new musicians through their work, and keep up with the current scene. They create music beat battles, music breakdowns, beat-making, and communities.
Good Times Ahead (GTA)'s comments on COVID impact
Through communities in Discord, musicians have created an outlet for their fans, to be able to interact with them more, and let them touch new music through their current state of mind. These communities have found other fans to collaborate with, create music compilations, and find new friends to learn and produce with.
BOOST TAPE 01 – Compilation for COVID and BLM movement
Artists have also created their own compilations in collaboration with other artists to help the COVID-19 cause. Through this, artists get to create collaborations with new ones without restrictions, in finding other artists, and become and inspiration and take the scene by storm.
